Lutherland
In 2005 I was awarded a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship. The research involved a fieldbased study of Luther-themed festivals and tourism in Wittenberg, Germany, the one-time home of Martin Luther and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The work is now complete, and a book manuscript and DVD, titled Performing the Reformation, is forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
